Jason Figueroa

Jason is studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Multidisciplinary Design and is the current team lead of the Mapleseed Sensor Network Laboratory. 

“MDP allowed me to gain valuable hands-on experience as a freshman that I leveraged to land my first internship. My continued involvement has helped me gain valuable leadership experience that I use to be successful in diverse team environments. I also have strengthened my ability to confront ambiguous and challenging problems as my team constantly presents me with difficult tasks.”

After graduation, Jason aspires to work as a Design Engineer and his MDP experience has prepared him with hands-on engineering and leadership skills.
