ROB Flex Tech Credit on an MDP Project

Robotics majors are eligible to earn Flexible Technical Elective credit on pre-approved MDP Sponsored Projects (during the second semester of their project only).

Requirements:

  1. Project must be pre-approved by the Robotics Undergraduate Program Chair (click here to see all projects pre-approved for ROB Flex Tech). 
  2. Students must enroll in 4 credit hours of ENGR 455, during the second semester of their project. 
  3. Students must complete a petition with the Robotics department to use the course as a Flexible Technical Elective.
    *please note: Only 4 hours of directed/independent study or research courses (total across all depts., i.e. ROB, EECS, ENGR, IOE, Civil, etc.) can count toward Flexible Technical Electives via petition.

Winter Semester Fall Semester

ENGR 355 or 455 (depending on standing)
