Edward Peper

SIM team

 

Major: Computer Science Engineering, ’20

Edward is studying Computer Science Engineering and is a Motion Platform Algorithm Engineer for the Real-Time Driving Simulator (SIM) team. He also was the Lead Research Assistant over the summer. Some of his responsibilities include helping manage the team, and building an alternative motion-based system from home when he did not have access to his lab due to the pandemic.. 

“MDP was the first experience that really made me feel like I belonged to the University of Michigan community. My MDP faculty advisor really interacted with me to see me grow in skills that would be valuable after I graduated. He provided me opportunities that allowed me to gain some critical skills as an undergraduate student and as an individual.” 

Edward plans to graduate in December of 2020.
