Roller Culture System with Programmable Gas Mixture for Ex-Utero Culture of Mouse Embryos
Little is known about embryo development in the first stage of pregnancy between egg implantation and when it is first visible on an ultrasound. We are making an device to grow mouse embryos ex-utero so we can study their development. To foster embryo growth, we must control the gas composition, pressure, temperature, and humidity while constantly rotating them.
