Method to Maintain Cephalic Position of a Fetus In Utero
Pregnant patients who have a fetus that is in breech presentation, or is at risk of becoming breech, and their healthcare providers have a need to maintain the cephalic position of fetuses in utero in order to avoid the potential complications from vaginal breech delivery or Cesarean section. To address this, we are developing a wearable device that will prevent rotation of the fetus in the womb once it is in the cephalic position until delivery.
