Finite Element Modeling and Analysis of Automotive Suspension System Using MSC Apex

Date: Friday, October 13th, 2017
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Location: Dude 1180

Brief Description:
MSC Apex is the next-generation CAE environment that allows engineers to study the behavior of their designs using a finite element with an easy to use/learn interface. This workshop will walk the participant through the process of importing and modifying CAD geometry, creating a finite element mesh and performing static and dynamic analyses. Hands on workshops will be followed by a discussion session where your questions about finite element analysis can be addressed. This workshop will be taught by experienced product development engineers who have years of experience using finite element analysis for various industrial applications. Students interested in Product Design , Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to attend.
